👋🇨🇦 so who is jordan?
I'm a product designer, design mentor, podcast host, workshop host, and coffee enthusiast, based out of beautiful Vancouver, Canada! I focus on B2B and B2C, with experience in transforming ideas into product reality for statups, enterprise and government. .
I'm currently at Jostle helping to build an employee success platform that helps organizations and their people around the world stay better informed and ditch confusing intranets. Previously, I worked for SAP Analytics Cloud to help businesses gain AI insights on their data, along with the City of Vancouver to help citizens vote and find information faster within their City.

How did I get into UX design?
During university, I originally started off in business, marketing, and communications. I found myself switching from video to UX design after working for the BC government, helping to tackle the challenge of bringing digital patient records across the province for better patient care. This was the catalyst and inspired me to be able to be able to design for these strategic problems!
From there, I've invested fully in my UX career through my degree in interaction design and UX design...and haven't looked back since!

UX Community Mentorship:
I have a passion in being able to share knowledge about our industry – helping to mentor junior and upcoming designers in our industry through BobaTalks and ADPList!
I've been mentoring since 2021 – help students, junior designers, and others succeed in our ever-changing industry!
Speaking:
In addition to my main work, I'm passionate about sharing my journey as a designer, and challenge myself as well! I've had the opportunity to speak at conferences and events, along with having led professional UX workshops in the industry to spread industry knowledge.
And for my 5-9 after work...
I'm not just all about design! Outside of work, you'll find me...
- tinkering about with my coffee recipes as an at-home barista (a pandemic hobby turned daily routine...see some latte art above!)
- hopping to cafes, and satisfying my sweet tooth with local ice cream shops
- planning some new travel destinations
- cheering on the Whitecaps and Canucks!
